Purpose and oversight

AI supports contract analysis, questions, comparisons, drafting and offer review. Output can be incomplete or inaccurate. Check source clauses, parties, dates and amounts before approval. Generated suggestions do not constitute legal advice.

Provider and model selection

The configuration reviewed on 13 October 2026 has OpenAI and gpt-5.4-mini as environment defaults. Workspace policy and customer-supplied credentials can change provider/model resolution. A default is not evidence of the model used for every request.

Training and retention

The published QCM policy states that customer contract content is not used by Qedara to train AI models. The reviewed OpenAI Responses adapter sends store:false. That setting does not establish Zero Data Retention or disable all provider abuse-monitoring retention.

Managed AI and customer credentials

QCM supports managed credentials and a workspace BYOK mode. Customer credentials require their own provider terms and account controls. BYOK does not remove QCM from the processing chain or make provider retention disappear.

Confidential contracts and necessary data

QCM is designed to analyse contracts, including confidential commercial information and personal data necessary for the requested task, where your organisation is authorised to process them. You do not need to remove parties, clauses or amounts that are relevant to the analysis. Avoid unrelated personal data, passwords and access credentials. Special-category personal data requires a separate assessment of the intended use and applicable safeguards. Non-training does not mean that data is not processed or retained: the applicable processing agreement, provider settings and retention controls still matter.
